Metal Arts Group - Northwest Coast & Wildlife Jewelry In 1895 an ambitious young man, Joseph Mayer, sailed from his homeland in Europe to the United States. Upon his landing in New York Harbor he set out on a journey to Seattle Washington, the gateway to the gold fields of the Great Klondike. He struck gold and in a few short years built one of the largest jewelry companies in the United States. Joseph Mayer was about to embark on a historical entrepreneurial odyssey that would leave a lasting mark on the American Jewelry Industry. Though our name has changed from Joseph Mayer & Bros. Inc. to Metal Arts Group, our commitment to producing quality jewelry remains the same today.
