Tarahumara Language and the Tarahumara Indian Tribe (Raramuri, Ralamuli) Tarahumara Indian Language (Raramuri) language of Mexico. There are more than 60,000 Tarahumara speakers in Mexico, mostly in Chihuahua. There are actually several different dialects of Tarahumara which are so different from each other that it is difficult for speakers of one to understand speakers of the other. For this reason many linguists consider them distinct languages.
