Description: A subgroup of the Association of Computational Linguistics (ACL) which seeks to promote interest in all aspects of Chinese Language Processing (CLP), e.g. morphological analysis and word segmentation, parsing, lexicons and semantic and pragmatic analysis, machine translation, and information retrieval and extraction.
SIGHAN, a Special Interest Group of the , provides an umbrella for researchers in industry and academia working in various aspects of Chinese Language Processing. The SIGHAN election has now closed. The slate of nominees has been unanimously approved. Thank you to all who participated.
