Description: Timelines for both Anasazi Periods and Non-Anasazi Peoples. Includes Chaco Canyon Pueblos.
Jordan: Southwestern Chronology Chronology of Southwestern Archaeology Note: Insofar as possible, this chronology follows the Pecos Classification of 1927, which is still used as the most general standard of reference for Southwestern archaeology, despite its round-number dates and a slight misfit (sometimes up to a century) with some regions. It works better for the Anasazi than for other peoples. Accordingly separate lists are given at the end for Fremont, Hohokam, and Mogollon.
