Small-Angle X-Ray Scattering Initiative for Europe - SAXIER SAXIER: Small-Angle X-Ray Scattering Initiative for Europe SAXIER is co-ordinated by the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Hamburg, Germany, as a Design Study under the Infrastructure programme of the Sixth Framework Programme. The European Commission is contributing €3.6 million out of a total budget of €7.2 million. The project includes Europe's main SAXS laboratories at synchrotrons in France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.
