Prior to coming to Baylor, he taught at Oklahoma State University (1995-1997) and Cornell University (1994-1995). Though being born in Minnestoa and ending up in Indiana, he mostly grew up in Wisconsin. He has been married to Laura Sepanski since 1990 and has three delightful children: Sarah, Benjamin, and Shannon. Besides mathematics, he enjoys gardening with native Texas plants, playing the guitar, Tae Kwon Do, rock climbing, hiking, camping, biking, reading fantasy, spending time with his family, and hopes to dabble with cooking once his children grow taste buds.
