In March 2012, OSHA issued the first major change to their Hazard Communication Standard since 1985 to include provisions of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for the Classification and Labeling of Chemicals. This will change everything - all product MSDS (now SDS) will have to be re-evaluated and updated, employee training by Dec. 31 2013, written compliance programs and more. Be prepared!
