Faculty, Staff, & Current Students: Go At the Colorado School of Mines Rock Physics Lab we research rock and fluid properties for exploration and reservoir monitoring. Much of our work relates to energy exploration and ground water reservoir monitoring. Our most current projects center on fluid distributions in rocks and how these distributions affect characteristics such as wave attenuation, velocity dispersion, and seismic signature.
