Description: Student project including classification, habitat, adaptation, nutrition, reproduction and interactions with other species.
Tree Swallows are migratory, active, song b irds that are found in North America during their breeding season and as far south as Central America during the winter. These beautiful birds spend most of their days darting through the air at speeds exceeding 20 mph snatching up their meals.  They are very aggressive compared to their other swallow relatives, defending their territory around their nest site at all costs.
