Thrixspermum saruwatarii (Hayata) Schltr. 1919 color=orange> Saruwatar's Thrixspermum - In China Chang Zhou Dian Lan color=carmine> .6" [1.5 cm] Found in central and southern Taiwan in forests on tree trunks at elevations below 1200 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with an erect to ascending stem carrying nearly basal, narrowly oblong to linear-oblanceoalte, leathery, acute, sometimes unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on a usually pendulous, 2 to 3.2" [5 to 8 cm] long, 3 to 8 flowered inflorescence with the rachis being slightly flexuous and thickened and has non-distichous, ovate-triangualr, acute floral bracts.
