The Chimpanzee is one of the most intelligent animals on the face of the Earth, next to only humans. They hunt and feed intelligently, have been used as "characters" in Hollywood films, and have been studied by scientists across the world teaching these apes sign language and other such learned skills. I chose the Chimpanzee as the animal I would research and build this website for, for the primary reasons that I am fascinated by the levels of intelligence that these creatures possess, and also that they are our closest known relatives proven by DNA sequencing. Enjoy this website, as well as learn and explore the life of a Chimpanzee!
