Plants of Viñales: a pictorial guide - Rondeletia odorata Bush up to 2 m, minor branches densely rusty or hirtellous; stipules triangular or triangular-lanceolate, 2-10 mm, attenuated or cuspidate, sericeous; leaves oval, oval-oblong, oblong, or obovate-oblong, 2-10 cm long, 1-4.5 cm wide, obtuse to almost heart-shaped at base, rounded to pointed at apex, generally coriaceous, commonly very scabrous on upperside, on underside strigose on veins, margin usually revolute; inflorescence in cymes or corymbs, peduncles up to 3 cm, pedicels up to 1 cm; tube of calyx densely hairy, lobes 5, linear to spathe-like, 3-6 mm, obtuse or pointed, slightly hairy; corolla red-orange, hair on outside, tube 15 mm lobes rounded, 3-5 mm; capsule globose, 3-4 mm, hairy.
