The domestic cat, also know as the house cat, is a well-known species throughout the world. This site has been created to inform you of different scientific aspects of the cat. This site has been created for my Organismal Biology class at UW-La Crosse. The 2009 theme is Christmas organisms. Majority of cats enjoy Christmas even more that the average person does. As you can see in this image, my cat Ootsie, is enjoying the serene feeling of Christmas time. After all, it is the most wonderful time of the year!
