Plants of Viñales: a pictorial guide - Erythroxylum havanensis Bush or tree up to 6 m; leaves oblong to obovate-oblong, slim, 3-8 cm long, 1.5-4 cm side, more or less obtuse, rarely emarginate at the apex, elongated to cuneate at base, pallid green on the underside, petiole 2-3 mm, stipules pointed or acuminate, 2 mm; pedicels 4-12 mm; calyx separated towards the base, 1.5-2 mm; petals oblong, obtuse, 2.5-5 mm; drupes obtuse, 4-7 mm, wider than long at the centre, with shallow grooves.
