ADW: Camponotus pennsylvanicus: INFORMATION , the black carpenter ant, is native to the Nearctic region. Its range covers the eastern half of the United States, and it is the most common species in the central and eastern United States. It also is present in eastern Canada. Specimens have been found in Bermuda, but it is unclear whether the species is established there.
