citrus blackfly - Aleurocanthus woglumi Ashby Ashby (Insecta: Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) Ashby, is a serious citrus pest of Asian origin (Dietz and Zetek 1920), it is usually under effective biological control in Florida. Although a member of the whitefly family, the adult of this species has a dark, slate blue appearance that led to it being given the name "blackfly."
