Description: The focal point of this facility at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is for developing, coordinating and implementing interdisciplinary research and education related to the role of the Arctic and sub-Arctic in the Earth system, and to stimulate and facilitate global change research in this region.
Center for Global Change and Arctic System Research A campus-wide framework for linking knowledge and people entered college planning to study physics but geology caught his attention, and by the time he was working on a Master’s degree at the University of Colorado Boulder, glaciers were at the center of his studies.
