The procedure provided here can be used to produce a human karyotype from your own blood cells. This procedure yielded great results considering the limitations of our laboratory setting and our experience. Use the sources provided along with the variations when fitting. Every attempt at making a karyotype will bring about unexpected problems, which will have to be overcome by further modifying the given procedure. Paul 5/31/2001
