Welcome to the Apodaca laboratory home page. The Apodaca lab is based in the Renal-Electrolyte Division's laboratories, which are located in Scaife Hall on the main campus of the University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine, Oakland district, Pittsburgh, PA. The laboratory is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and explores the mechanisms that govern exocytic and endocytic traffic in epithelial cells including the umbrella cells of the bladder and the polarized cells that line the nephrons of the kidney.
