Description:International Society of Environmental Botanists (ISEB) has been actively engaged in promoting its objectives, that is, research, education, and awareness on the role of plants in preserving our environment. Main goals of ISEB are; (1) To promote and coordinate research on plants in relation to environmental pollution. (2) To encourage better interaction among researchers, teachers, and social activists. (3) To create awareness, especially among governmental policy makers and industry leaders. ISEB targets its activities to three sections namely, common man, including illiterate masses in rural and urban areas; students in educational institutions from primary school to university level; and global scientific community (research workers and academics in research institutes and universities) including NGOs.
