Description: All-sky images and keagrams from South Pole.
A system of Automatic Geophysical Observatories (AGO) is currently operating in Antarctica. The AGO's are equipped with magnetometers, VLF-HF receivers, riometers and all-sky cameras. Summary plots of all-sky keograms are made public for scientific use. Due to the remote location and unmanned operation not the whole winter season is covered due to instrument failure. Large data gaps may also occur during sun illumination and sometimes bright moon light disturbs the data.
