Description: Brief introduction to society located at Norway.
This is the WEB site for Trondheim Astronomiske Forening ( ) which was established in the autumn of 1998. We are a small local non-profit society of amateur astronomers in Trondheim, Norway. We are about 130 members by June 2005. This is not much for a city with about 150 000 residents. But then again, it is not that bad for a place like Trondheim which is definitely not the ideal place for astronomy due to far less than average clear nights. The members range from completely inexperienced to quite experienced amateur astronomers.
