Description: Located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks with recreational activities are abundant.
Our 2002 star party was a lot of fun. The sky was very clear and viewing was excellent. Tillman Kennon, an astronomy professor at Arkansas State University brought his 11 inch telescope. It was the center attraction. We observed the Andromeda Galaxy, Saturn, The Pleades, and other objects. We also saw an iridium flare.
