The conference was held in Reno, NV from December 11–13, 2013, sponsored by the Cooperative Extension Services of AZ, CA, CO, ID, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, and WY. There were nearly 600 attendees, >70 exhibitors and 35 speakers. It was a comprehensive conference covering all aspects of forage production including alfalfa and different hay crops, silages, economics, irrigation, and pest management.
