Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences Development of new research infrastructure in the form of a new building and the renovation of an existing building was initiated. The new building will house an extension of the Forestry and Agricultural Biotechnology Institute and the newly developed Bioinformatics Unit. The facilities will include new laboratories and growth chambers for the Plant Biotechnology initiative, and a new set of quarantine greenhouses for use with GM pants. The renovated Agricultural Sciences Library will house the Department of Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Development while the library will be incorporated into main facilities of the Academic Information Services.
