Description:The Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum has been in operation in Hannibal, Missouri since 1912. The Boyhood Home is designated a National Historic Landmark. Six buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum is supported by gift shop sales, admissions, donations, and endowments. Tour groups and other visitors are welcome. Free educational and teaching materials are available on our website. Virtual tours and young author workshops also available. The Museum displays 15 original Norman Rockwell paintings from Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.
