  Texas Forestry Museum - Lufkin, TX The steam engine was the heart of the sawmill. This 20-ton steam engine was made by Houston, Stanwood & Gamble Co., Cincinnati, Ohio in 1900. It was originally used in the Nona-Fletcher Lumber Co. in Kountze, TX.
