Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology and Clinical Research Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology and Clinical Research is a multidisciplinary research center affiliated with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health. The Center's work promotes the health of the public by generating the knowledge required to prevent disease and its consequences. Through patient-oriented research, the Welch Center evaluates the application of laboratory discoveries as well as the adoption of best practices in clinical settings and populations. To meet this challenge, the Center harnesses the talents of a group of faculty dedicated to disease prevention, health promotion, and evidence-based health practices, integrating clinical expertise with a comprehensive knowledge of epidemiologic methods.
