Most of the research done by members of the IRA is performed at the Hale 200-inch Telescope at near San Diego, California and the two 10-m atop Mauna Kea in Hawaii. We work in the "near infrared" range of the electromagnetic spectrum between wavelengths of 1 and 10 microns.
