Description: New York Kappa Tau Chapter
Welcome to the NY Kappa Tau Chapter of Pi Lambda Phi. This Chapter is located at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity was originally founded in 1895 at Yale University. These Founding Fathers set forth to establish a non-sectarian fraternity in which anyone could join no matter their race or religion. The NYKT Chapter here at Rensselaer was founded in 1949 for similar reasons and has upheld these ideals ever since. Our Chapter is constantly trying to give back to the Troy community, participate in school activities, and form strong fraternal bonds between the Brothers.
