- Opened originally as the DuBois Center of Penn State in 1935. Transferred to the site of DuBois Mansion in 1938. Located in greater DuBois of Clearfield County. Provides a quality education to over 1,100 students with 49 full-time faculty.

- First came to the Penn State system at the creation of the Cooperative Extension Program in 1907. Moved unto 27 acres of farmland near Uniontown in 1968. Now having grown to over 200 acres, the campus acts as host to over 1,100 students.

- Penn State Greater Allegheny
- Created originally as an extension to the Penn State system in 1934, the permanent site was made with a 10-acre plot of land adjacent to Renzie Park in 1956. Now 52 acres, the campus is located fifteen miles southeast of Pittsburgh, with a student enrollment of nearly 1,000.

- Penn State Mont Alto
- Located near Chambersburg in Franklin County. Founded in as the Pennsylvania State Forest Academy, this school offers the first two years of 180 majors as well as 4-year programs in nursing, occupational therapy, human development and family studies.

- Penn State New Kensington
- Introduced into the Penn State system as the New Kensington Center in 1958 from local need for higher education. Now located in Upper Burrell Township, four miles east of New Kensington, the 72-acre campus is home to 43 full-time faculty and over 1,000 students.

- Founded in 1964, and relocated in 1968 on the current 14.5 acres set in downtown Sharon. The only urban campus in the Penn State system. Maintains three bachelor and eight associate degree programs, and a student enrollment of just over 1,000.

- Penn State Worthington Scranton
- Established in 1923 as a branch school with the Penn State system in Scranton. Originally named the Scranton Center in 1951, relocated to the current location in Dunmore in 1968. Over 100 faculty and 1,600 students call home to this 45-acre campus.

- Joined the Penn State system at the purchase of the scenic 85-acre Markle estate in 1948. Now consists of 104 acres in West Hazleton, overlooking the Conyngham valley. Maintains a staff of 89 employees and enrollment of about 1,400 students.

- Penn State Schuylkill
- Established originally at the location of the county alms house in 1875. After being held in nearby Pottsville until 1967, was moved to its present location outside the Borough of Schuylkill Haven. Over 1,100 students are taught by 90 faculty at this 70-acre rolling hillside campus.

- Originally the Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute, until becoming part of the Penn State system in 1958. Moved to its present Spring Township location in 1972. Home to nearly 2,200 full-time students on a spacious 241-acre campus.

- Penn State Lehigh Valley
- Started with the Penn State system as an extension in 1912. Relocated to a 40-acre plot near Fogelsville in 1968 as the Allentown campus. Became known as the Lehigh Valley campus in 1997. Now home to nearly 700 full- and part-time students.
