| Description: | The Indiana Live Steamers are a group dedicated to transportation history and live steam railroading. The primary focus of this group is a 7 1/2 inch,gauge railroad. These miniature trains are 1/8 scale models of real transportation system tools. Many locomotives are live steam engines. Some of the models are diesel electric models which actually operate through a mechanical hydraulic system. These ride on model trains are located in johnson county park near Edinburgh, Indiana, Hoosier horse park and camp atterbury. The track is an Indianapolis area attraction, perfect for a recreation activity. During the year, other live steam enthusiats will bring out steam engine models,steamboats, and other steam powered machines. The club is a non profit 501(c)(3) group that can accept donations. |
