The Scout Pipe Band in Australia - bagpipes and drums Welcome to East Hills Scouts Pipes & Drums The only scout pipe band in Australia is open to to all registered members of the Scout and Guide movements aged from 10 to 26 years and to all registered leaders of both movements. Men and women over the age of 26 who are not Scout or Guide leaders may join the band by becoming members of the East Hills Pipes and Drums Scout Fellowship. Previous experience in Scouting and Guiding is not necessary to join the Fellowship, nor is it necessary to have experience in playing the bagpipes or in drumming to become a member of the band.
