Description: A 1,000 acre camping facility operated by the Blue Grass Council.
The McKee Scout Reservation is an 800 acre camping facility nestled in a 3,000 acre forest near Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Our camp has much to offer, including year-round camping, hiking trails and a well stocked lake with catfish, bass and bluegill. We also serve as an excellent area for training and volunteer work for not only Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, but corporations and other youth organizations as well. For the nature observer, we are a Kentucky Stewardship Forest and wildlife refuge with many animals such as Canada Geese, Wild Turkey and Whitetail Deer.
