The Great South Bay Amateur Radio Club "....serving the Community through Public Service." ARES for the Town of Babylon provides auxiliary communications as needed in times of emergency A.R.E.S.-Amateur Radio Emergency Services is a part of the ARRL that helps to train operators and provide operators during times of emergencies. In addition, local A.R.E.S. groups help to provide communications for walkathons, bike-a-thons, marathons and Special Olympics, just to name a few. Most of the ARES for the Town of Babylon members are also GSBARC members.          Â
