Welcome to W7ASU, the Amateur Radio Society at . The club is focused on using and promoting and the surrounding activities in the college environment. After being stationless for more than 20 years, as of February 2010, W7ASU has set up a ham radio shack located on university property. Although the club has a very limited budget and many boat anchors for equipment, we still try to participate in several club activities during the semester. Events vary based on club member interests, but past activities have included collecting fares at local hamfests (fundraising!), participating in public service events, contesting, offering licensing classes, and educating the public about ham radio.
