| Description: | Michigan Basset Rescue is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1992. Our primary goal has remained the same, to find permanent homes for bassets in need in the state of Michigan. MBR is funded solely by private donations and fund raising events. MBR does not receive any local, state, or federal funding. Most of our expenditures comes from shelter fees, boarding, transportation expenses, food, grooming, rescue tags, collars, leashes, misc. fundraising expenses, foster care expenses and providing all the necessary veterinary care for the rescued bassets. |
