This photo shows a couple of the boys from the Nigel x Poppins litter at 5 weeks old Our first Golden Retriever joined the family in 1983. Whilst at obedience classes with Amber of Saint Margarets we were persuaded to try our hand at showing. Although Amber was successful in a modest way, we very soon realised that she was no showgirl. We decided to add another Golden to our family and in 1985, Barklands X-Planation of Messano joined us.
