Shetland Sheepdog Rescue, Inc. As we all try and stay warm this winter and survive the polar vortexes, the need to rescue continues. LISSR has taken in close to 60 shelties in the past year, most from bad situations. One of our special angels, Cassandra Whitlock a noted animal artist, is donating a Gift Certificate for an 11"x14" custom graphite portrait of your pet (can be upgraded). 100% of the proceeds will go to helping transport, vetting, and care for our rescue shelties. Many of these dogs are true rescues and came from less than perfect situations. They are currently in foster care learning how to trust and become part of a family. Please think about having a portrait commissioned of one of your special pets as well as helping a rescue.
