The Lone Star Miniature Schnauzer Club was formed in 1970 by a group of Schnauzer enthusiasts that felt there was a need for a Miniature Schnauzer Breed Club in Dallas. The By-Laws, Constitution and code of ethics were adopted in September. Officers were elected and regular meetings began. After completing all the requirements the club was sanctioned by the AKC and is today the only Miniature Schnauzer Club in Texas..
