Description: A non-profit, volunteer-run group dedicated to finding homes for Greyhounds and raising public awareness about greyhound adoption. Based in La Mesa, California and serving California and parts of Nevada.
Home | Greyhound Adoption Center GAC’s open house this Sunday started off slowly, but there was lots of enthusiasm among the volunteers. Suddenly, like rush hour, visitors started pouring in and we had nearly a full house. Many stayed the entire open house looking, petting and getting to know the greyhounds. Most of our visitors were families and the kids had great time playing with some of our younger hounds. Several previous adopters came by with friends to show how great, friendly and laid back greyhound can be.
