Great Pyrenees Association of Southern California, Inc. It's getting hot out there, and when the mercury rises you need to take of your pets to prevent overheating and worse. Meet the Great Pyrenees, a breed in need. They are beautiful, intelligent, faithful, strong and protective dogs. So why is the Great Pyrenees a breed in need? Many Pyrs lost their homes due to the current economic downturn while others were turned in by owners not prepared to deal with pet ownership. These Great Pyrs and Great Pyrenees mixed breed dogs were rescued by the Great Pyrenees Association of Southern California, Inc. from animal shelters throughout Southern California and Nevada. Our goal is to find the perfect home for each individual dog we rescue. Our mission is to find loving, lifetime homes for all Southern California Great Pyrenees in need, regardless of conditions or circumstances. We will always strive to heal the sick and injured, rehabilitate the neglected and abused, and nurture the aged and unwanted until we find the perfect family who will shower them with unconditional love. Our rescue serves as a halfway house where each of our beloved Pyrenees can rest and recuperate, prior to being placed in their forever home and starting their new lives. We are supported only by donations from animal lovers like you. There are many ways to help as you will learn on our "How to Help" page.
