Great Dane Club of Tucson - History The Great Dane Club of Tucson was formed in March of 1968, to meet the needs of the average Dane owner in Southern Arizona. Realizing the lack of information available locally, we sought to form a club that was both interesting and informative to the pet owner as well as the breeder. Our aim was and remains to produce a better Dane, by informing our members on methods of breeding, exhibiting, nutrition and care of the Great Dane.
