They need a dominant, confident, loving and trustworthy leader who has time and know-how to properly exercise and work them. Once a dogo loses respect for someone, it is almost impossible to gain it back. This powerful breed of dog requires far more responsibility in raising and caring for them than most other breeds of dogs.
