(Detectorist designed by Donna Trefry and Painted by Jim Yates)  I have been metal detecting for many years.  I primarily hunt land sites, i.e.. schools, parks, house yards, sidewalk construction, farm fields, cellar holes     etc.  I have been using a Minelab Sovereign with the 8" coil, SunRay meter and the S-1 Probe.  I have found many coins in the 1800's.  My oldest  coin is a 1700's Chinese Cash coin.  I am also the proud owner of the new Minelab "Explorer"  Detector.  This is an excellent machine too and the old deep coins are beginning to pop out of the ground.  This machine is a "winner' for sure.
