It is in the heart of elk country! It consists of rolling hills covered with Ponderosa pine, scrub cedar, and a few areas with cottonwood trees plus grassy meadows. There are box canyons, deep draws and many rocky outcroppings which give the buffalo,elk and sheep innumerable places to find protection and escape hunting pressure. It can be negotiated by almost any level or age of hunter, but remember, you are hunting wild game over 600 acres of rough ground! We do "not" bait or hunt over water sources, all hunts are done on foot (unless specified prior) in a spot and stalk. So bring your hunting/walking boots.
