regrettably, the Munich Wanderers is not going to be continued. This decision was proceeded by a number of meetings amongst the tours leaders to try to rescue the group. The decision has not been taken lightly. Having got off to a good start in the summer of 1999 and enjoyed a great following for the first couple of years, more recently attendance of tours has dropped off so dramatically that it does not make sense to continue the group. Although we have attempted some measures to reverse the wane in interest, most of the tour leaders, ourselves included, have not been able to devote sufficient energy to achieve this due to other demands on our time and attention.
