Technical Details about the photos Technical Details about the photos The photos presented here were all taken by Boston Grotto members and friends using 35mm equipment with a variety of film and lighting techniques between 1974 and the present. Slides (chromes) are used predominantly by cave photographers because they are often presented at monthly club meetings or other caver gatherings. However, some were originally taken on negative (color) film, and the colors reversed during the scanning process.
