We are a group of canoeists who appreciate the efficiency, versitility and manuverability of a well designed canoe and the control provided by the traditional beavertail paddle as developed over countless generations of Native Americans. Unlike most clubs, we don't specialize in any particular type of trip, such as whitewater or sea-kayaking. We organize as wide a variety of trips as possible from class 2 whitewater on down to calm lakes. Our emphasis is on quality trips away from built up areas where we can enjoy paddling like it was done for countless generations before europeans even knew what a real canoe was. Because many of our trips are into remote locations and because we place the utmost emphasis on safety, our trips are alcohol-free.
