Description: Club modeling the steam/diesel transition era using NMRA compliant HO modules set up in the old UP Depot in Dillon. Located in Dillon, MT.
A group of model railroaders from southwestern Montana has begun the process forming a model railroad club. During the past few months, the group has been visiting other clubs and their layouts to understand layout construction and group organization. To date, the group has visited the Livingston Depot club layouts, the Idaho Fall's Eagle Rock Historic Society modular layout, a private home layout in Idaho Falls and the Helena Train Fair. The summer plans include a trip to a private layout in Cascade.
